Science having sent the drilling for oil and gas out to sea, problems have arisen regarding the liability to amphibious workmen injured while performing duties relating to offshore drilling operations. The injured worker here was a mud pumper who was injured on an offshore drilling platform but who spent most of his working time aboard a tender servicing the platform. The question is whether this worker was a "seaman" or a "member of the crew...
