Sun Oil Co. brought suit in Hockley County by petition filed on October 27, 1965, against Earnest Whitaker and Doyle Henderson for temporary and permanent injunction to restrain the defendants from interfering with the exercise by Sun of rights it claimed to the free use of fresh water from the Ogallala formation for the purpose of injecting it into the San Andres oil formation...
