This is an appeal from a judgment for defendants in a personal injury action.

A resume of some of the facts is as follows: on January 17, 1964, plaintiff was a passenger in a DC 3 certified aircraft owned by Las Vegas Hacienda, operated by Dell-Air Aviation and piloted by Robert Knapton on a trip from Burbank, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. Before taking off at Burbank the aircraft was given a routine pre-flight inspection by the maintenance department...
