Appellee Wade Church was Attorney General of the State of Arizona at the time of the commencement of this suit for libel on May 11, 1959. His claim was based upon an alleged libelous editorial which appeared on the front page of the Arizona Republic, one of two daily newspapers published by appellant, Phoenix Newspapers, Inc.
