Defendant Cancler was convicted of simple burglary, as defined by LSA-R.S. 14:62. The trial judge sentenced him to a term of eighteen years in the Louisiana State Penitentiary for a third felony under the provisions of LSA-R.S. 15:529.1, the Habitual Offender Law. Having perfected three bills of exceptions, the defendant has appealed. In this Court, he submitted two of the bills of exceptions without briefing or argument. We have examined these bills...
