KOHN, Justice.

The defendant was indicted for murder in the first degree on February 16, 1967. He was found guilty and his punishment was fixed at death. On February 24, 1967, judgment was rendered in accordance with the verdict of the jury. A motion for a new trial was overruled on August 28, 1967. The defendant thereafter perfected this appeal.
