This suit grows out of a contract for the repairing and doing over of several rooms in the residence of Eugene D. Brierre, one of the defendants. The other defendant is Calvin Poree, the general contractor. The contract was in writing, but it was not recorded and no bond was required of the contractor. The original price for the work was fixed in the written contract at $895.00, but by verbal agreement this was increased by $100.00, so that the final...
