JOHNSON, Judge.

Appellant was indicted by the Grand Jury of Montgomery County, Alabama, during the July Term, 1967, for the offense of forgery. Upon a plea of not guilty, appellant, represented by court-appointed counsel, was tried by a jury and found guilty as charged and sentenced to two years in the State penitentiary. He now makes this appeal.
