The defendants, Robert J. Galasso and Joseph A. Mancusi, appellants here, were charged with the unlawful possession and cultivation of a narcotic drug under Sections 398.03 and 398.04, F.S. 1965, F.S.A. They were tried jointly in the Circuit Court for Indian River County. The trial began on June 27, 1966.
