Santos Montoya, Jr. was found guilty by a jury of unlawfully transporting and facilitating the transportation and concealment of a quantity of marihuana, after unlawful importation, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 176a.1 He was given a five-year sentence by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
