On July 20, 1959, appellant (plaintiff below), Virginia Thompson, was a passenger in a taxicab owned by the defendant, Kenneth F. Butler, who was trading as G.I. Veteran's Cab Company. The taxicab, which was operated by appellee and cross-appellant (defendant below), Clarence E. Terry, had been hailed by plaintiff at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Whitelock Street in the City of Baltimore...
