The appellant, Raymond Patrick, serving a life sentence for murder in 1944 was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and the taking of Richard Snellen's automobile on May 31, 1966. Mr. and Mrs. Snellen live on Highway 179, Old Boonville Road, 12 miles west of Jefferson City, about 3½ miles from the prison farm, in Cole County.
