Lonnie Adams and his brothers James Adams and Maynard Adams were tried jointly for murder, before a jury in the circuit court of Cook County. The jury failed to reach a decision as to Maynard, but Lonnie and James were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. They appeal directly to this court, assigning a number of trial errors...
