In this proceeding we are asked to resolve the question of whether an unemancipated minor may maintain an action for personal injuries caused by her parent's negligence.1 In the superior court the mother of the injured child moved for summary judgment on the sole ground that an "unemancipated minor child cannot sue the parent for negligence."
