Schober, retired employees of the Caddo Parish Tax Assessor's Office, brought suit seeking a declaratory judgment as to their rights to receive increased retirement benefits under Act 93 of the Louisiana Legislature of 1966, which amended La.R.S. 47:1918. Made defendant was the Board of Trustees of the Assessors' Retirement Fund and citation was made on the Board through John Madison...
