This is an action for damages arising out of a motor vehicle collision of August 13, 1965, at the intersection of East Kings Highway and Youree Drive Extension, two principal thoroughfares in the City of Shreveport. Involved were a police vehicle driven by Fred G. Longoria, a police officer of the City of Shreveport, accompanied by Roy H. Lowery, a member of the Civil Defense, at the time a volunteer police officer of the city, and a Chevrolet station...
