Under the provisions of the Federal Employers' Liability Act, Jack Powell sued Kansas City Southern Railway Company for damages resulting from personal injuries. In response to Special Issues the jury found plaintiff's damages in the sum of Eighty Thousand Dollars. A judgment in the sum of Seventy-six Thousand six hundred Dollars was entered against the defendant, the $80,000 being credited with advancements made by the defendant to plaintiff prior...
