This matter is before us on a suspensive appeal taken by defendant Gibson's of Denham Springs, Inc. (Gibson's) from the judgment of the trial court granting plaintiffs, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sims, damages for personal injuries and incidental medical expense sustained and incurred because of personal injuries received by Mrs. Sims when she slipped and fell in defendant's Denham Springs store on April 30, 1965. The trial court awarded Mrs. Sims $4,000.00...
