This action for damages arose out of an automobile collision on May 15, 1964, at the intersection of James Street and U.S. Highway 80 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Involved were a Chevrolet, owned and operated by plaintiff, George W. Earles, and a Pontiac, owned by Fred D. Volentine and driven at the time by his daughter, Mrs. Wanda V. Head.
