This is an action for personal injuries under section 33 of the Merchant Marine Act of 1920, 46 U.S.C.A. § 688, which incorporates by reference and makes applicable the provisions of the Federal Employers' Liability Act, 45 U.S.C.A. §§ 51-59. The present appeal by the plaintiff is from a judgment entered on a jury verdict in his favor. The only issue raised is one of damages which must be decided under the cited statutes...
