Appellant sought damages under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C.A. § 688, for personal injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment as a seaman aboard defendant appellee's vessel, the M/V Freight Forwarder. Summary judgment was entered for defendant on the ground that the vessel was not in navigation and thus appellant was not a seaman within the meaning of the Jones Act. This appeal followed.
