This workmen's compensation suit was instituted by plaintiff, Roosevelt Jones, against Pearce & LeBlanc Contracting Co. Inc., and its insurer, The American Insurance Company, to recover maximum workmen's compensation benefits under the provisions of LSA-R.S. 23:1021 et seq., and for penalties and attorney fees under provisions of LSA-R.S. 22:658.
