This is an action instituted in the Circuit Court of Mason County by the Commercial Credit Corporation against the Citizens National Bank of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to recover damages from the defendant Bank in connection with several checks issued by the plaintiff on its accounts at two banks, on which checks the endorsements of the payees were later forged prior to their being deposited in defendant Bank.
