Adrienne Marie Gaskill, also known as Adrienne M. Roenstad, defendant, was convicted in the Municipal Court of the City of Lynchburg, Virginia, on a warrant charging her with operating a bawdy house, in violation of § 18.1-196, Code of 1950, as amended. On appeal to the corporation court of said city, the case was tried de novo by a jury, and again she was found guilty and her punishment fixed at twelve months in jail. Judgment was entered...
