Appellant, Jessie P. Hill, was indicted and convicted of embezzlement in the Circuit Court of Grenada County, Mississippi. On conviction and with recommendation of leniency by the jury, he was sentenced to serve one year in the county jail and pay all costs, with nine months of the sentence suspended for good behavior and the condition that he make restitution in the amount of $540.53 within one year after the date of the judgment.
