This is an appeal by George Morito Kitashiro, one of two codefendants charged with larceny first degree, i. e., the theft of an automobile belonging to Theodore T. Kawamura, Jr. The other defendant, Kenny Yukuo Otake, changed his plea from "not guilty" to "guilty" by permission of the court after the State had put in its case. Kitashiro, hereinafter referred to as "defendant," was convicted after trial jury-waived...
