This litigation arose out of a farm operation agreement entered into by the landlord and the tenant. Plaintiff W. J. Buckley, a railroad conductor, had control, through his wife's ownership, of a 700 acre farm located near Marceline, Missouri. The defendant Raymond Coe was a farm renter but had at one time worked for plaintiff as a hired farmhand.
