HAWTHORNE, Justice.

Barbara Jean Vines, charged in a bill of information with the crime of obscenity denounced by R.S. 14:106(4), was tried, convicted, and sentenced to pay a fine of $305.00 and serve 60 days in the parish prison, and in default of payment of the fine to serve an additional 30 days in prison. From this conviction and sentence she has appealed.

The statute she is charged with violating reads as follows:
