AYRES, Judge.

This action in tort arose as a result of a fall sustained by plaintiff about 10:00 p.m. on August 24, 1961, as he walked westerly on a sidewalk on the south side of Jordan Street in the City of Shreveport. Plaintiff seeks to recover damages for personal injuries received in the fall, occasioned by a dangerous and defective condition in the sidewalk.
