The United States brought this condemnation proceeding to acquire from the City of Tacoma, Washington, a right of way for a road within the city's municipal watershed. The Government desires the right of way for use in connection with the Howard A. Hanson Dam and Eagle Gorge Reservoir, King County, Washington, being constructed by the Corps of Engineers, United States Army.
