Plaintiff filed this suit for damages in which he alleged he was struck and injured by an automobile owned and being operated at the time by the defendant. The case was duly tried and judgment rendered awarding the plaintiff $3500.00 for pain, suffering and mental anguish resulting from his personal injuries. Special damages consisted of an allowance of $25.00 per week for 42 weeks representing lost income from employment as a musician; $150.00 for ambulance...
