On motion for summary judgment the district court held that the acts and omissions upon which appellant based her action under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C.A. §§ 1346(b), 2671-2680, occurred in Bangkok, Thailand; and that suit under the Act was therefore barred by 28 U.S.C.A. § 2680(k), which excludes from the coverage of the Act "any claim arising in a foreign country...
