The defendant argues the evidence does not support the verdict on the issue of negligence and the wage-loss award was beyond reason and without any evidentiary foundation. It is also contended the permanentinjury award was grossly excessive. The plaintiff has taken a review and argues the case should have been submitted to the jury on the question of whether there was a violation of the safe-place statute in addition to common-law negligence applicable...
