Frank Rodgers brought this suit against H. E. B. Food Stores in Bexar County for injuries alleged to have been sustained by plaintiff's wife, Julia Rodgers, on or about October 12, 1963, while she was patronizing one of defendant's stores in San Antonio. Plaintiff alleged that his wife's injuries were sustained as a direct and proximate result of the defendant's negligence in failing to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition for customers...
