Margaret Hovey was granted a divorce from Charles Hovey on October 27, 1960. Charles counterclaimed to establish a resulting trust in real estate at 17 Washington Terrace in St. Louis, the title to which was in plaintiff's name. Subsequent to the divorce decree and in May 1960, the counterclaim was tried in equity resulting in a judgment for the plaintiff based on a finding that defendant had made a gift of the property to her at the time it was...
