YARRUT, Judge.
Defendant, Alcide J. Weysham, has appealed from a default judgment against him on a promissory note for $2000.00 he signed as co-maker with his co-Defendant, John B. Hagerty plus 5% interest from July 20, 1961, 20% attorney's fees and all court costs. Having failed to plead after obtaining a 15-day extension from the court, a default was entered against him, and Weysham filed a motion for a new trial, giving as reasons therefor:
