This is an expropriation suit brought by the State of Louisiana, through the Department of Highways, against Leo Caillier, a landowner in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. This dispute arises over a parcel of land consisting of 6,085 square feet, located on Willow Street near the City of Lafayette.
