This is a suit for declaratory judgment and mandamus brought by Clifford W. Cordes, seeking reinstatement to a position in the Department of Revenue of the State of Illinois, and also seeking back pay for the period during which he had been discharged. The trial court found the issues for the plaintiff, ordered that he be reinstated, and directed payment of his salary...
