A New York wife and mother, whose husband has left the State and failed to meet his obligations to support his family, sues his employer on a partial assignment of wages. The issue is whether a statute of Massachusetts, where the husband is employed and paid his wages, would forbid recovery there and whether it should be given effect in the courts of New York.
