On January 30, 1958 at about 11 in the evening plaintiffs, Genevieve Meisner and Mary George, were passengers in an automobile owned and operated by defendant, Healey, when it collided with a pillar on the ramp leading to the Manhattan side of the Queensborough Bridge.
