This is an appeal from an order entered June 1, 1962, which granted petitioners' application and, inter alia, directed the Civil Service Commission (herein Commission) to accord to each petitioner the passing mark to which he is entitled in the written examination for promotion from lieutenant to captain, Police Department, City of New York.
