The plaintiff, Mrs. Jim Grant Akin, a citizen of Texas, brought this action in the District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Louisiana National Bank of Baton Rouge, the Testamentary Executor of the Succession of Charles W. Lamar, Jr., the plaintiff's deceased adoptive father. The plaintiff also joined as defendants the testamentary heirs of the decedent, Mrs. Lamar and two minor children.
