Plaintiff sued defendant for a sum of money and obtained a judgment by default rendered March 7, 1960, and signed July 5, 1961. Prior to the signing of the judgment, defendant filed a rule on plaintiff to show cause why the judgment should not be recalled, rescinded, annulled and set aside, or, in the alternative, why a new trial should not be granted.
