The appellant, Lawrence Pope, was convicted under an indictment charging him with robbery of the First State Bank of Thornton, Texas, by putting the life of a person in jeopardy through the use of a dangerous weapon in violation of 18 U.S.C.A. § 2113(d), and the court imposed a sentence of 25 years imprisonment.
