On August 29, 1962 Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6, Jefferson County, Texas, instituted proceedings for the condemnation of an easement over certain lands situated within the boundaries of the district. Articles 3264 et seq., Vernon's Ann. Tex.Civ.Stats.
