Herman Ueber, defendant-appellant, appeals from a judgment against him in favor of the United States in the total sum of $158,900.00. The action was brought under Title 31 U.S.C.A. § 231 (False Claims Act). An amended complaint charged that Ueber and his wholly owned corporation, Ueber Tool and Manufacturing Co., referred to herein as the Ueber Company, had, in violation of said act, made or caused to be made and presented, false claims...
