Larry Mayes instituted the present action against the defendant insurance company for the total loss of his 1960 model Ford Galaxie automobile which was destroyed by fire after having been involved in a collision. Plaintiff purchased the automobile new, and at the time of the accident had owned same for approximately two months and had driven it about twenty-six hundred miles. Universal C. I. T. Credit Corporation intervened as plaintiff's mortgagee...
