The case before us charges 2 physicians with false imprisonment and assault and battery.1

The case arose out of the removal of plaintiff to the Kent County Receiving Hospital. Plaintiff's husband had applied to the probate court to have her committed to the Kalamazoo State Hospital as a mentally ill person, which application was still pending at the time of the incidents herein described.
