Twenty-eight cattle owners from St. Landry Parish instituted these proceedings against the Louisiana Livestock Sanitary Board and Dave Pearce, Commissioner of Agriculture, for several reasons. The first object of the suit was to have the Compulsory Brucellosis Eradication Program enjoined in St. Landry Parish pending the rendition of a final judgment herein.
