This appeal involves an attempt to set aside as simulated, a notarial act, authentic in form wherein Alice Moore Steen transferred to Carrie Moore Davidson, certain property situated in St. Joseph, Tensas Parish, Louisiana. The suit was filed May 10, 1955 by Mrs. Amalia Steen Spiers. Carrie Moore Davidson was made defendant therein. Mrs. Davidson died July 19, 1957, prior to the trial of the case on the merits, and her heirs, Alice Davidson Taylor...
